Living Room Chef Bio

Born in Minnesota, but grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area I was privileged to be surrounded with a large diversity of food selections. From hamburgers and fries to stir fried frog’s legs and pig’s intestines I pretty much at it all. There are rarely any dishes you put in front of me that I would not give it at least a try at.

Also, growing up with a dad and a step dad having a career as a chef I was destined to cook. I made my first pan friend egg when I was seven and it only grew from there. Through these past twenty-three years I have learned the ttextures and flavors of food combinations to a point where I can make myself drool just thinking about them. I believe that the simplest combinations make the best dishes and I hope I can share these ideas with anyone that wants to learn.

Most of these items can be created anywhere, even in your living room. Don’t let your limitations stop you from cooking. I spent over a year cooking in my living room and if I can make a whole chicken in the rice cooker then the rest of my recipes should be a breeze.

Have a cooking challenge for me? Struggling to make the dishes with what you have ti cook with. Email me at livingroomchef [at] yahoo [dot] com and I will try my best to help you out.

Bon appétit!

WOW! I would have never believed a simple rice cooker could cook up such a fiesta! I’m a big dessert fan, how about a cheesecake?

I know this is late, but let me think of something we can do with a cheesecake. There’s always the no bake cheesecakes.
